H&M is one of the most popular stores to go to for reasonable prices and for the most up to date trends. Here is a video look book for their spring/summer 2011 collection. In their collection you can defiantly see the 70's inspiration, clean silhouettes, lots of maxi dresses and bold bright colors and prints. These garments look like they just came straight off the runway. Think about runway looks for such an affordable price! AWESOME!

This is a video of a  LMFF 2011 Bridal Trunk. I picked this video because I like how they put this trunk show together. They show clips of the models getting ready in the back and then the actually catwalk. Also, the way they focus more on the product rather than the model wearing the product says alot. The consumer can actually see what the brand has to offer.

THIS VIDEO IS CRAZY! I love surfing, but I had sharks and I love how the shark is just pulling him along. I would probably be crying if this was me! NO! I would die!

Color is a huge factor in the Fashion industry. We base our discussions on color because it is the first thing we see in a garment. Also, color can also tell a lot about the mood in a garment.  Some of the color trends I have been seeing alot of are autumn ashy colors like golden yellow, dark orange, ruby wine, chocolate brown and blackberry. On the other hand, I have been seeing alot of fierce colors like red. Also, skin tones/ earthy shades are very popular.  The colors that make up this palette are warm neutrals like honey brown, blush, dove grey,cream, soft green, pale sand, clay and soft pewter.

Walking on the streets this past week I saw a lot of the classic colors like black, brown, white, navy blue and grey. Occasionally I would see some color, but it was still a deep color, nothing out of the norm. I feel like people love these classic colors because they are easy to coordinate and won't stand out. Even though different colors come and go, these classics always win the top favorite in people's wardrobe. I myself love the color black because I love to accessorize it with jewelry or break it up with other colors. These classic colors are defiantly a classic in the fashion world.

If its one thing that caught my eye on the streets of NYC it was indeed the famous cheetah print. Even though cheetah print has been around for quite some time it has still remained as a popular pattern. Cheetah print can be used on garments such as t- shirts, sweaters, underwear, bras, sweaters, coats, bathing suits and even jeans and it can also be used on accessories like shoes, handbags, head bands, socks, scarves, hats, and even tights. Also, I have seen cheetah print makeup! Cheetah print is known for fun, wild and exotic.  Cheetah print still  remains to be one of the famous prints among the fashion industry. CHEEETTTTAHHHHLLLIICCCCIOOUSSS.

Color loose fitted dresses will be the key item for spring 2012 because they look stylish , but yet comfortable for the season. Also with a loose fitted dress you will be able to dress up or dress down with this key item. In addition, you can accessorize these dresses anyway you want too. Color will have a factor. You want the dress to look stylish and not boring. I picked out a couple of dresses that I thought were good examples.

I picked these two dresses because I love the bold colors. These colors are great examples on what I was talking about. They are not boring at all . They are fun and stylish, but not to over the top. I also like how they are just wearing the dress with nothing else  but heals.  By wearing nothing but heals you can actually wear this simply to meet up with the girls or go out on a nice date at night. The blue one is my favorite because its loose, its fun, but yet sleek.

Love the salmon color first of all! This color is totally great for the season.  I like how this is the same concept, a loose dress, but the ruffles and bow  brings it to a whole new level.  The belt brings out her shape, but yet it still looks loose and comfortable.  The ruffles brings out the  fun factor  to the dress. Also, the way she accessorized the dress with her earrings also brings out the idea on how you can dress this dress up or down.  I would totally wear this dress on a date. Its adorable and fun.

I absolutely love this dress. Its a little deep and dramatic for the summer time , but  I think it is so casual. I love how she accessorized it and the color.  Also, the plum color tights make this dress so casual and just an everyday outfit. I also love the model's hair and make up in this picture really says a lot. She looks really pretty and well put together.

* I love how a same style dress can tell so much. Each model wore the same kind of dress, but yet they looked totally different and presented it in a different matter.

I am in love with these pants! I picked this picture because I have recently bought  pants like these at H&M. I love the idea how natural this girl looks. The messy hair and  her smile makes this picture so fresh and fine.  I also love her sweater. This outfit is well put together.

I picked this picture because I love how The Sartorialist just captures ordinary people on the streets. This picture is such a great action shot. I love how the young man is just focusing on whatever is going on at  the cafe. The colors being used here brings warmth to this picture and the man's style brings fashion into the picture. I love how the littlest thing like the hanky details the man's wardrobe making it unquie. I also love his hat. It's a perfect action picture.

I picked this picture because this dress is absolutely flawless. I'm not a huge Kim Kardashian fan, but she looks amazing in this dress. This Marchesa plum gown is beautiful, but the fact that it is detailed with Lorraine Schwartz jewels makes the gown even more gorgeous. Also, the way she accessorizes her wardrobe with nothing but chandelier earrings brings attention to the gown. For once Kim looks classy in an outfit.
